A Cyber Security Workshop was conducted for the students of classes (VI-X)at Green Fields School on August 6 th, to create awareness among students about safe and responsible use of the internet.
Students were introduced to the difference between Cyber Security (protecting systems from online threats) and Cyber Safety (safe online behavior). The resource Person Mr Rishikesh B highlighted the importance of digital awareness in students’ lives, especially with growing online exposure.
Common cyber threats like phishing, identity theft, and malware were discussed along with preventive tips—using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and not sharing personal details.
